Child welfare professionals across the nation are becoming more aware of the importance of a more “whole family” approach to CPS cases. This approach is being embraced and encouraged in CASA programs across the State and as you know, Family Collaboration Engagement (CFE) is becoming an important part of our case work as child advocates.
But we recognize that with increased family contact and engagement, there can be some concerns regarding personal safety and we have partnered with Detective John Graham with the Taylor County Sheriff’s Department to develop an “Advocate Safety Training”.
