CASA Superhero Run

See below for Pictures from big Country CASA’s 1st Annual Superhero 5K/1K Fun Run!

Our 1st Annual CASA Superhero 5K/1K Fun Run (Walk, Run, or Fly!) was held Saturday, May 6, 2017, at the Abilene Christian University Campus in Abilene, Texas. We had 460 registered runners! Thank you to ALL of our sponsors and supporters! You’re our heroes!

The goal of our yearly event is to increase awareness of CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates), to recruit more volunteer advocates for children and to raise funds to support our mission. All proceeds from our race will directly benefit Big Country CASA in our efforts to recruit and train CASA volunteers to give a “voice” to abused and neglected children in court and the Taylor County foster care system.

For more information about next year’s Superhero Fun Run, call or email Angela Sharp or Rhea Rodriguez: 325-677-6448 or info@bigcountrycasa.org.
